About the Event

A missing element in our team meetings supporting those who are the most vulnerable is that of purpose and passion. This session, led by Sarah Buffie of Soul Bird Consulting, will highlight the importance of centering gifts and interests of a person and how a strengths discovery can lead to finding meaning and purpose in life. A lifetime of adversity can challenge our “instinct of purpose.” When we can help people discover that which makes them tick, vs. focusing on what gets them ticked we have a higher probability of building self-esteem, engaging in safe relationships and building the resilience

factor of Belonging.

1. Participants will understand the healing power of bellowing, empathy and connection.

2. Participants will understand the impact of social isolation experienced by people with devalued labels.

3. Participants will know creative approaches for enhancing belonging and community connection.
